COMMUNITY As often as possible, the New York Women's Baseball Association gives basic baseball training sessions to women and young girls in New York City. In the past, we have teamed up with the YWCA as well as PowerPlay, an organization that aims to empower girls by teaching them sports skills and team values. We have also teamed together with the Brooklyn Cyclones for community events such as their annual Ladies Day Clinic and a 24-hour marathon fundraiser game.
